IOC and OCA Chiefs to Visit Asian Games Athletes' Village

IOC President Kirsty Coventry and Olympic Council of Asia President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani will tour the athletes' village of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on September 20, a day after the opening ceremony. The two presidents will visit Garden Pier, where athletes and officials from 45 National Olympic Committees are being accommodated. The athletes' village does not have a traditional setup, with athletes and officials being housed across a cruise liner, temporary Asian Games villas, and hotels in Nagoya city and Aichi prefecture.
