X Games Comes to Calgary in February 2024

The X Games action sports competition will be held in Calgary, Canada from Feb. 19-21, marking the first time in the event's 31-year history to be hosted in Canada. WinSport's Canada Olympic Park will host the three-day competition, featuring top skiers and snowboarders competing in events like Big Air, Knuckle Huck, Slopestyle, and Superpipe. Officials estimate 15,000-20,000 spectators and a $25 million boost to the city's visitor economy. Canadian athlete Brendan Mackay, a freestyle skier, is excited to have the event in his hometown and believes it will inspire young athletes.
