CnTx pact provides economic rights to CT-202 going forward
Context Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: CNTX) has secured economic rights to its investigational bispecific T cell engaging (TCE) antibody, CT-202, moving forward. CT-202 is a Nectin-4 x CD3 TCE bispecific antibody designed to target Nectin-4, a cell surface protein overexpressed in various solid tumors, including bladder, colorectal, lung, and breast cancers. Preclinical data indicate that CT-202 has a favorable pharmacokinetic and safety profile, supporting its potential as a best-in-class therapy. The company expects to complete necessary regulatory filings to initiate a first-in-human trial in the second quarter of 2026.
CT-202 is part of Context’s broader portfolio of TCE bispecific antibodies for solid tumors, which also includes CT-95 and CTIM-76. The company’s strategy is to develop a pipeline of TCEs that can redirect T-cell activity to tumor-specific antigens while minimizing off-target effects. The economic rights to CT-202 underscore the company’s commitment to retaining control over its key assets as it advances through clinical development. Investors should note that while the company has not yet reported clinical data for CT-202, the molecule is expected to enter clinical trials in the near term, with further updates likely as the program progresses.
