Benitec Biopharma Reports FY26 Results, Sets Stage for Pivotal Trial

Benitec Biopharma has released its FY26 financial results, with $180 million in cash reserves as of June 30, 2026. The company has completed follow-up for all six Cohort 1 patients and fully enrolled Cohort 2, with plans to initiate a pivotal trial for BB-301. Benitec held a Type C meeting with the FDA in 3Q2026 and presented additional interim clinical study results at the European Society of Gene and Cell Therapy congress.
