TWLO--

Twilio Inc.’s TWLO new AI-focused platform could become an important growth driver as businesses increasingly deploy AI agents for customer engagement. At its SIGNAL 2026 event, TwilioTWLO-- introduced a new conversation layer featuring Conversation Memory, Conversation Orchestrator, Conversation Intelligence and Agent Connect. These tools connect human and AI interactions while preserving customer context across channels.

Early adoption signals are encouraging. Car Finance 247 signed a seven-figure deal for the new platform, while its AI assistant has handled nearly 300,000 conversations. Customers engaging with the assistant reportedly moved to approved leads 1.6 times faster, showing how Twilio's technology can create measurable business value.

The opportunity is also supported by Twilio’s broader financial momentum. In the second quarter of 2026, revenues increased 22% year over year to $1.50 billion, while organic growth reached 17%. Non-GAAP income from operations rose 29% to $285 million, and free cash flow came in at $353 million. The company's dollar-based net expansion rate also improved to 116% from 108% a year earlier.

Twilio is already seeing strong demand across AI-related communications. Voice revenues grew more than 20%, while software add-on revenues increased more than 25%. The company has also raised its 2026 organic revenue growth forecast to 13%-13.5% from 9.5%-10.5% previously.

With AI adoption expanding and Twilio's core business accelerating, the new platform could provide another growth leg. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 and 2027 revenues indicates year-over-year increases of 20.3% and 14.1%, respectively.
