Micware Co - Micware Navigations to change trade name to Micware Spacia effective Sept 1, 2026

Micware Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: MWC) announced that its consolidated subsidiary, Micware Navigations Co., Ltd., will change its trade name to Micware Spacia Co., Ltd., effective September 1, 2026. This rebranding is part of the company’s strategic shift to focus on the development of its spatial intelligence business under the newly established entity. Micware Spacia will assume responsibility for the DynaPlanet platform, a key component of Micware’s operations, and will be led by Masahide Shigeno, Representative Director, Deputy President, and Chief Technology Officer of Micware.

The reorganization also involves the transfer of certain business functions from Micware Navigations to Micware Automotive Co., Ltd., aimed at strengthening the micAuto platform business. Kenta Imaida, the current Representative Director, President, and CEO of Micware Navigations, will transition to Micware Automotive as part of this restructuring.

Micware stated that the launch of Micware Spacia marks a pivotal step in its growth strategy, which focuses on expanding platform-based operations to drive future value creation. The company plans to implement further measures in support of this strategy in the coming months.
