Bengaluru Student Forced to Hand Over L6Lakh, 150g Gold Amid Extortion Threats

A 14-year-old Class 8 student in Bengaluru was allegedly threatened and extorted of Rs 6 lakh in cash and 150 grams of gold ornaments by a group of 10 men over several months. The extortion began when one of the accused befriended the teenager and falsely accused him of damaging an electric two-wheeler. The boy allegedly handed over the demanded money and valuables after being threatened with violence. The case has been registered at the Bagalagunte Police Station.
