Balancer Proposes Wind Down Amid $9M Treasury

Balancer token holders are being asked to shut down the protocol before its estimated $9 million treasury is depleted. The proposal aims to distribute the remaining assets before operating costs consume them. The winddown is subject to a token vote and would stop new development work, reduce the protocol to a limited withdrawal service, and later distribute the remaining treasury to eligible BAL holders.
