Vietnam Archaeologists Uncover 6m Underground Layers of Thang Long Imperial City

Archaeologists in Vietnam have discovered a 6m layer of underground terrain in the Thang Long Imperial City, providing valuable insights into the city's history and architecture. The excavation, conducted by the Center for Heritage Preservation and the Institute of Archaeology, has uncovered layers of culture dating back to the Dai La (7th-9th centuries), Dinh-Tien Le (10th century), Ly (11th-12th centuries), Tran (13th-14th centuries), and Le (15th century) dynasties. The findings aim to shed light on the city's development and preserve its cultural heritage.
