Schmid Group 2026 order intake guidance has been raised
SCHMID Group N.V. (NASDAQ: SHMD) has raised its full-year 2026 order intake guidance, reflecting sustained improvements in order momentum and enhanced business visibility. The company now expects order intake to range between €125 million and €150 million for the year, up from its previous guidance of approximately €114 million. This update follows second-quarter order intake of €30.7 million and cumulative order intake of €81.6 million as of July 14, 2026.
The company also announced a repeat order exceeding €37 million, further contributing to the upward revision of its guidance. Despite the strong order intake, SCHMID noted that EBITDA margins in the first half of 2026 are expected to be significantly lower than the full-year target of more than 12%, due to the revenue profile of the period.
To support its growth, SCHMID closed a $20 million convertible notes offering on July 14, 2026. The proceeds will be used to fund working capital needs and the expansion of its manufacturing capacity in China. The company plans to release its half-year financial results by August 25, 2026, followed by an investor call.
The updated guidance and financing reflect the company’s strategic focus on scaling operations and meeting increased demand in the electronics manufacturing sector.
