Satellogic Advances Autonomous Intelligence Capabilities with ONR Slingshot III Program

Satellogic Inc. has announced an expanded agreement with Innovative Defense Technologies in support of the US Office of Naval Research's Slingshot III program. The new work will advance faster, more autonomous production of track data, improved predictive planning, and new in-orbit operational capabilities. Satellogic will conduct on-orbit activities and tests during 2027 and 2028, integrating six new satellites into the Slingshot III architecture. The agreement will help establish a new Persistent Global Intelligence infrastructure building block for real-time detection, autonomous tip-and-cue, and faster decision-making.
