Rappid Valves gets INR180.5M order from BHEL
Rappid Valves (India) Limited has secured an order worth ₹180.5 million from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for the supply of valves and related components for a power sector project. The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, submitted to the National Stock Exchange.
The order, which is expected to be executed over the next 12 months, is part of BHEL’s procurement for hydraulic valves used in power generation infrastructure. Rappid Valves, which operates from its ISO-certified manufacturing facility in Palghar, Maharashtra, has a strong track record in supplying precision-engineered valves for critical applications in industries such as hydrocarbon, marine, chemical, and power.
The company’s product portfolio includes gate, globe, ball, butterfly, and check valves, all designed to meet global standards such as DIN and ASME. The order from BHEL adds to Rappid Valves’ growing exposure in the industrial and infrastructure sectors, following recent contracts with entities such as Shree Refrigerators for the Indian Navy’s Fleet Support Ship programme.
The contract is non-related party in nature and has been awarded at arm’s length, according to the company’s regulatory filing. The order is expected to contribute to the company’s revenue visibility in the near term and reinforce its position as a key supplier of engineered valve solutions in India.
