US lawmakers have submitted amendments to the Russia sanctions bill, with one naming India as a top trading partner and another proposing to scrap the section imposing tariffs. The Lindsey O Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act aims to impose sanctions on Russia's leadership and energy sector, as well as on vessels that enable Moscow to evade sanctions on oil deliveries. The bill must be passed by the House of Representatives before being sent to the President for signature, with four working days left before early recess.
