Broadcom Expects Anthropic to Surpass Google as Largest Customer in 2027

Broadcom reported Q3 FY26 non-GAAP EPS of $3.32 on revenue of $29.59 billion, beating analyst targets. However, the stock fell due to a Q4 sales forecast of $34.8 billion, below the average target of $35.03 billion. Broadcom expects sales to Anthropic to surpass Alphabet's Google division, positioning Anthropic as the company's largest customer in 2027. Anthropic is the company behind Claude, a frontier AI model with coding and content-creation capabilities, and is expected to have its IPO this year. Broadcom is shipping its Ironwood Tensor Processing Unit to both Alphabet and Anthropic, with accelerating shipments expected to Anthropic in Q4.
