Qualifying securities must be exchange listed and have either NASDAQ or NYSE as their primary exchange to be included in the index. No limitations were set with the selection process regarding credit rating and maturity. Constituents are market-cap-weighted and the index is rebalanced on the final trading day of each month. Prior to June 1, 2021, the fund tracked the Wells Fargo Hybrid and Preferred Securities ex Financials Index.
