Crypto Market Moves: XRP Surge Stuns Coinbase, BlackRock's BTC Milestone, and Solana ETFs on the Horizon

Over the weekend, the crypto market witnessed several significant developments, with XRP making a notable splash, BlackRock hitting a historic Bitcoin milestone, and Solana ETFs poised to make their mark.

XRP's Surge Stuns Coinbase

A massive XRP transfer, valued at approximately $92.7 million, caught the attention of the crypto community. The transaction, involving 29,532,534 XRP, originated from an unidentified wallet and was spotted by Whale Alert. While such large transfers often indicate potential sales, other reasons could be at play, such as providing additional liquidity to exchanges like Coinbase or strategic reshuffling for diversification purposes. As of writing, XRP is trading in the red, having lost its key level of $3, with its current value standing at $2.88 and a 7.49% decline over the past 24 hours.

BlackRock Hits Historic BTC Milestone

BlackRock's Bitcoin holdings have surged to an unprecedented value of $60 billion across its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with 574,118.84380 BTC recorded on the ETF's balance sheet. According to data from Farside Investors, Bitcoin ETFs have attracted a total of $188.7 million in inflows, with BlackRock accounting for $154.6 million, representing 81% of the net inflows. This aggressive accumulation positions BlackRock as one of the largest institutional holders of Bitcoin, surpassing even MicroStrategy's notable holdings. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has sparked discussions about Bitcoin's potential, suggesting a price target of $700,000 if institutional adoption increases and has been talking with a sovereign wealth fund about allocating 2% to 5% of their assets to Bitcoin.

Solana ETFs Underway: What to Expect
