Xcel Energy Reports Q2 2025 Earnings of $444 Million, Up 47% YoY

Xcel Energy reported Q2 2025 GAAP earnings of $444 million, or $0.75 per share, up from $302 million, or $0.54 per share in Q2 2024. The increase in earnings was driven by recovery of infrastructure investments, partially offset by higher interest charges, depreciation, and O&M expenses. The company plans to invest in new generation capacity and wildfire mitigation measures.
