Whitehawk Minerals prices upsized IPO at $26 per share
WhiteHawk Minerals has priced its upsized initial public offering at $26 per share, raising $179.4 million from the sale of 6.9 million shares of Class A common stock, as outlined in its S-1/A filing with the SEC. The company has also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.04 million shares, which would bring the total offering size to approximately $224.3 million if exercised in full. The shares are expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “WHK”.
The company, which will change its name to WhiteHawk Minerals Corp. following the IPO, operates in the Appalachian and Haynesville Basins, holding 3.4 million gross drilling spacing unit (DSU) acres as of March 31, 2026. Its revenue is primarily derived from mineral and royalty payments tied to natural gas, NGL, and oil production, which are subject to market volatility.
The IPO is being managed by a team of underwriters, including Raymond James & Associates, Stifel, and J.P. Morgan Securities, who are acting as joint lead bookrunners. The offering remains subject to regulatory approval and market conditions.
