Whale Boosts Crypto Portfolio: $15M WBTC, $228M BTC & ETH
A prominent crypto investor, known as a whale, has significantly increased their holdings of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in recent months. In a recent transaction, the whale acquired 151.3 WBTC, worth approximately $15 million, at an average price of $99,124. This purchase comes on the heels of a $228.5 million investment in BTC and ETH since December 2022, resulting in an unrealized profit of around $93.89 million.
Of the total investment, $178 million was allocated for the acquisition of 2,687 WBTC at an average entry cost of $66,570. Additionally, $49.63 million was directed towards purchasing 17,792 ETH at an average purchase price of $2,790. This strategic accumulation underscores the bullish sentiment prevailing in the crypto market.
