Western Copper and Gold welcomes the federal government's referral of the Northwest Critical Conservation Corridor to the Major Projects Office, which includes the proposed Yukon-B.C. Grid Connect. The project aims to strengthen energy security, deliver clean power, and support critical minerals development in the Yukon, including Western's Casino Project. The corridor has the potential to unlock C$7.6 billion per year in clean economic growth and support over 36,000 jobs.
