WeRide and Uber Expand Robotaxi Fleet in the Middle East to 1,200 Vehicles

WeRide and Uber are expanding their partnership to deploy at least 1,200 Robotaxis across the Middle East, with operations expected to be completed by 2027. The fleet will be available through the Uber app in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh, with a progressive scaling up of Robotaxis as regulatory approvals and performance milestones are met. This deployment supports WeRide's vision of tens of thousands of Robotaxis globally in the next five years.
