Molly Mulroy, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of WEC Energy Group, will bring her extensive utility operations experience to the board. She has overseen various departments at WEC Energy Group since 1999, including IT, Human Resources, and Supply Chain. Mulroy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She is active in the Milwaukee community and currently serves on the boards of Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Women, Inc., Milwaukee Tech Hub, and Next Door Foundation.
Laura Piotrowski, CEO and President of Cavendish Vernal, a strategic advisory firm she founded in 2017, will contribute significant financial expertise as a CPA and strategic advisor. Piotrowski has held senior finance roles, including Chief Financial Officer of Stein’s Garden & Home and Managing Director of Finance at Robert W. Baird & Co. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an Executive MBA from Marquette University. Piotrowski is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Both new board members have expressed enthusiasm about their new roles and the opportunities ahead.
