Warner Bros. Bidding Battle Heats Up as Paramount Launches Hostile Takeover Bid

Paramount has launched a hostile takeover bid for Warner Bros. Discovery at $30 per share in cash, valuing the company at $108.4 billion. This bid comes after Warner Bros. agreed to a deal with Netflix. Paramount's offer is for all of Warner Bros., while Netflix is interested only in the Hollywood studios and streaming business. Paramount's bid is significantly higher than Netflix's offer of $27.75 in cash and stock.
