Walgreens Teams Up with Workflow Services and Exact Sciences to Expand Colorectal Cancer Screening Options

Walgreens has partnered with Exact Sciences and Workflow Services to increase colorectal cancer screening awareness and accessibility. The program provides a streamlined pathway for eligible patients to request the Cologuard test, a non-invasive stool DNA test for colorectal cancer screening. The initiative aims to close the screening gap and support earlier detection of colorectal cancer, which is the #1 cause of cancer death in adults under 50 in the US. The Cologuard test is FDA-approved, covered by most insurance companies, and requires no special diet, prep, or time away from work.
