Wabash Settles Fatal Crash Lawsuit for $30M, Reducing Original Verdict by $432M

Wabash has agreed to settle a legal case involving a fatal crash for a $30M payout, after initially facing $462M in damages. The OEM had previously sought to appeal the case and reduce punitive damages to $108M. Insurance will cover costs beyond the $30M payout, but the exact amount was not specified.
