Vodafone Idea Secures ₹5,836 Cr. from Vodafone Group, Sets New Recovery Terms

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has amended its agreement with the Vodafone group to secure the recovery of Rs 5,836 crore in liabilities arising from the 2017 merger. The amendment relates to the contingent liability adjustment mechanism and includes a cash payment of Rs 2,307 crore over 12 months and 3,280 million equity shares for five years.
