Variscite Launches SMARC SoM Series and VAR-SMARC-MX8M-PLUS for IoT and Industrial IoT Devices

Variscite has launched a new series of System on Module (SoM) devices that conform to the Smart Mobility Architecture (SMARC) standard. The VAR-SMARC-MX8M-PLUS is powered by NXP's i.MX 8M Plus processor and features high performance, energy efficiency, and extended connectivity. The device offers secure real-time clock, multiple USB connectors, and two Ethernet controllers with IEEE1588 support. Variscite's SMARC SoM series is designed for IoT, industrial IoT, point of sale, medical, and other low-power mobile devices, and offers customization options and operating system support.
