Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology, is investing $225 million in a new manufacturing facility in McAllen, Texas, to produce software-defined vehicle technology. The facility will create up to 500 new jobs and begin production in late 2027. Valeo is partnering with General Motors to produce a central compute unit that processes data from multiple sensors and systems to control essential functions.
