Uttar Pradesh Teacher Dies While On SIR Duty Amid Reports of Overwork and Stress.

A 58-year-old biology teacher deployed as a booth level officer (BLO) for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, died at his residence allegedly due to a brain haemorrhage. The college principal claimed the teacher was under "heavy pressure" due to the door-to-door verification work and had been unwell. The electoral roll revision is underway across the state.
