UPS Imposes New Fees on US-Bound Imports Amid Shipping Disruptions

UPS will charge a $2.50 processing fee for international packages shipped to the US via UPS Worldwide Express, Express Plus, and Express NA1 services. FedEx also introduced fees in April for imports from China and Hong Kong. Several major foreign parcel delivery firms, including DHL, have paused shipments to the US due to the US Customs and Border Protection's new guidelines requiring transport operators to pay customs deposits for imported goods valued over $800.
