Unlocking Log Analytics with Amazon OpenSearch Service and OpenSearch Dashboards

Amazon OpenSearch Service is a fully managed solution for log analytics and observability. OpenSearch Dashboards allows users to create custom dashboards to monitor system behavior, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues through interactive charts and graphs. This post demonstrates how to create an index pattern, two types of visualizations, and display them on a custom dashboard, as well as how to export and import visualizations. Prerequisites include a properly configured OpenSearch Service domain and a working log collection and ingestion pipeline.
