Universal Technical Institute CEO Urges Passage of VETS Opportunity Act to Modernize GI Bill for Veterans

Universal Technical Institute CEO Jerome Grant testified before the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity, urging the passage of the Veterans Education and Technology Skills (VETS) Opportunity Act. The act would allow veterans to use their GI Bill benefits for accredited hybrid and flexible certificate and diploma programs. Grant highlighted the importance of expanding opportunities in high-demand fields, reducing underemployment, and strengthening the workforce.
