Unilever has appointed influencer agency Samy to develop a global influencer strategy for its food business, which may be spun off as part of a potential sale to McCormick & Co. The agency will use its Maia platform to access over 120 million influencers worldwide and build systems for deployment and measurement. Unilever aims to shift half of its media spend to social media and work with 20 times as many influencers.
