Uber (UBER.US) announced new customer features ahead of the busy holiday season. The company has launched a new airport-specific fare option in its shared ride app, UberXXL, which goes beyond UberXL to guarantee more trunk space for families with lots of large luggage.

Uber has already rolled out the new service at more than 60 airports worldwide, with more to come. Pricing-wise, UberXXL fares will sit between UberXL and Uber Black.

The company also said its airport UberX Share program will offer travelers a new, more affordable, and easier way to get around. Airport UberX Share will launch today in Austin, Denver, New York, Washington, D.C., Miami, New Orleans, Phoenix, San Francisco airports, as well as Amsterdam and Madrid international airports, with more airports to come.

Uber Reserve was also highlighted as an easy way to arrange airport pick-ups. "With our new flight capture feature, passengers can easily input flight details to get recommended pick-up times, ensuring they arrive at the airport on time and stress-free," Uber said. "If the flight is delayed, our flight tracking feature will alert the passenger and ask if they want to adjust their airport pick-up time accordingly."
