UBC Chemistry Professor's Side Hustle: Creating Crosswords for the New York Times

UBC chemistry professor Mark MacLachlan creates crossword puzzles in his spare time. He started in the late 90s and submitted over 20 puzzles before his first one was accepted in the L.A.
