Tucows to Provide Back-End Registry Services to Radix

Tucows has been awarded a contract to provide back-end registry services to Radix, a portfolio registry with 11 top-level domains, including.online,.store,.tech,.site, and.fun. The partnership will see Tucows assume technical registry operations for Radix's portfolio, helping the company maintain and manage its domain extensions.

(NASDAQ: TCX) (TSX: TC), a global provider of internet services, has announced a significant partnership with Radix, one of the world's largest portfolio registries. Tucows Registry, a segment of Tucows Domains, has been awarded the contract to provide back-end registry services to Radix. This agreement will see Tucows assume technical registry operations for Radix's portfolio of 11 top-level domains (TLDs), including 10 new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) and one country-code TLD (ccTLD), as well as one second-level domain TLD (SLD).

The partnership will enable Radix to leverage Tucows' robust registry infrastructure, positioning both companies to capitalize on the upcoming wave of new TLDs expected in 2026. Tucows will manage Radix's portfolio, which includes high-performing domain extensions such as .online, .store, .tech, .site, and .fun.
