Trump Gala Dinner Requires Background Checks, Self-Funded Attendance
Guests invited to a private dinner with former U.S. President Donald Trump are required to undergo a personal background check, according to the official terms released by TRUMP Meme Coin. The TRUMP Gala Dinner is scheduled to take place on May 22, 2025, at the Trump National GolfGOLF-- Club in Washington D.C., but may be rescheduled or relocated at its sole discretion. President Trump may not be able to attend the TRUMP Gala Dinner, and the event may be canceled for any reason, including but not limited to force majeure events. If President Trump is unable to attend the TRUMP Gala Dinner, or if the event proceeds as planned, then at its sole discretion, the TRUMP Gala Dinner may be rescheduled, or eligible TRUMP Meme holders will receive a limited edition TRUMP NFT as an alternative.
All confirmed Gala Dinner invitees will be responsible for their expenses incurred during the TRUMP Gala Dinner, including but not limited to travel expenses, ground transportation, other transportation costs, parking fees, meal expenses, tips, and hotel surcharges. All TRUMP Gala Dinner invitees and their guests, if applicable, must be at least 18 years old and of the legal age of majority in their local jurisdiction, must sign a waiver and any other required documents, undergo security and background checks, and receive pre-approval, all at its sole discretion.
This measure is part of a series of stringent security protocols implemented by Trump's team. Attendees must also cover the costs of the dinner themselves, adding a layer of exclusivity to the event. The invitation is extended to the top holders of a meme coin associated with Trump, with the stipulation that they cannot be from a Know Your Customer (KYC) watchlist country and are prohibited from bringing guests. This move underscores Trump's evolving stance on cryptocurrencies, despite his initial skepticism. The dinner, scheduled for May 22, is seen as a blend of politics and personal wealth creation, reflecting Trump's unique approach to engaging with his supporters and the broader public. The background check requirement and the self-funded nature of the dinner highlight the meticulous planning and security measures in place for such high-profile events. This initiative not only ensures the safety and integrity of the gathering but also sets a precedent for future engagements, emphasizing the importance of thorough vetting and personal responsibility among attendees.
