Tripadvisor celebrates 25 years with its annual Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants. Winners are chosen based on real traveler reviews and rank among the top 1% of all restaurants on the platform. Eight distinct subcategories are recognized, including Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Vegan & Vegetarian, Date Night, Hidden Gems, and Pet-Friendly. The awards highlight exceptional culinary experiences worldwide.

Tripadvisor, the world's leading travel platform, celebrated its 25th anniversary by unveiling the 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants. The awards recognize exceptional dining experiences worldwide, chosen based on real traveler reviews and ranking among the top 1% of all restaurants on the platform. This year, eight distinct subcategories were recognized, including Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Vegan & Vegetarian, Date Night, Hidden Gems, and Pet-Friendly.

The Fine Dining category featured the world's most exceptional restaurants, with Fogón Asado in Buenos Aires claiming the top spot globally. Revival in Charleston, United States, ranked No. 1 in the U.S. and No. 7 in the world. The Hidden Gems category highlighted under-the-radar restaurants, with Indian Kitchen By R&R in Prague, Czech Republic, and 1Kitchen in Nashville, Tennessee, taking the top spots in their respective regions. For pet-friendly dining, Bistro André in Valence, France, and CRAFT Key Biscayne in Key Biscayne, Florida, were recognized as the best in the world and the U.S., respectively.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Tripadvisor introduced a new category, the One-Of-A-Kind Restaurants, which recognized unique dining experiences. Nest in Queenstown, New Zealand, earned the inaugural title. The awards also highlighted the best restaurants of the last 25 years, with Bodegas Mezquita Céspedes in Cordoba, Spain, ranking No. 1.

The 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards for Restaurants are part of Tripadvisor's larger Travelers' Choice Awards umbrella, determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings specific to each subcategory posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period from August 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025. The awards serve as a trusted guide for travelers seeking exceptional dining experiences worldwide.
