TriMas Aerospace Sold for $1.45 Billion to Affiliate of Tinicum L.P.

TriMas has agreed to sell its Aerospace segment to an affiliate of Tinicum L.P. for $1.45 billion. The sale represents an enterprise value multiple of 18x last twelve months adjusted EBITDA. The transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions. After the sale, TriMas will focus on its packaging business and plans to reinvest to drive profitable growth, including through targeted acquisitions.
