CURV--

Torrid, a plus-size fashion chain, is closing 181 stores, nearly a third of its locations, due to declining sales. The closures target "structurally unproductive stores" with low sales, and the company plans to shut up to another 30 locations during the first half of 2026. Torrid has struggled with declining net sales, which fell 9% in 2025, but executives are confident in the company's turnaround and early signs of success in shifting its customer base toward its digital platform.
