Toronto Lawyer Couple Under Investigation for Fraud, Police Seize $1M+ Worth of Luxury Goods

Toronto lawyer couple Singa Bui and Nicholas Cartel are under investigation for fraud, possession of proceeds of crime, and laundering proceeds of crime. Police seized over $1 million worth of designer goods, including 58 pairs of Manolo Blahnik shoes and 52 Alexander McQueen clothing items, from their home. Bui admitted to embezzling client money for luxury purchases, while Cartel denies any involvement, claiming his wife managed their finances.
