Tombill Mines Limited Announces Update on Old Mine and Talmora Stockpiles

Tombill Mines Limited has provided an update on its Tombill Old Mine and Talmora Mine assets, including recent exploration of mineralized stockpiles. The Tombill Old Mine was mined from 1938-42 and 1955, producing 68,737 oz Au at 12.36 grams/tonnes. The company collected 69 samples from 16,153 meters2 of mineralized stockpiles, with grades ranging from 0.17 to 11.55 g/t Au.

Tombill Mines Limited (TSXV: TBLL) has recently announced an update on its exploration of mineralized stockpiles at two historical mine sites, the Tombill Old Mine and the Talmora Mine [1]. These mines, located in Ontario, Canada, have a rich history of gold production, with the Tombill Old Mine yielding 68,737 oz Au at 12.36 g/t and the Talmora Mine producing 1,406 oz Au at 5.04 g/t [1].

During the 2024 field season, Tombill collected 69 samples from the Tombill Old Mine stockpiles, covering a mineralized area of 16,153 meters² and ranging in depth from 40-220 cm [1]. The results were promising, with grades ranging from 0.17 to 11.55 g/t Au and an average of 3.15 g/t Au [1]. These findings suggest that the Tombill Old Mine stockpiles may contain a significant amount of gold that was previously overlooked.

Similarly, initial sampling of 10 locations at the Talmora Mine site revealed grades between 0.06-21.60 g/t Au, averaging 4.9 g/t Au [1]. These results indicate that the Talmora Mine stockpiles may also hold potential for further exploration.

Tombill plans to conduct further work during the upcoming 2025 field season to determine the volumes and potential gold resources of these stockpiles [1].
