Tim Hortons China Launches Eco-Friendly Straw Made from Captured CO2

TH International Limited, the exclusive operator of Tim Hortons coffee shops in China, has launched an eco-friendly straw developed in collaboration with Tencent's CarbonXmade program. The straw is made using Carbon Capture Utilization (CCU) technology, which converts industrial CO₂ emissions into materials. The new straws will be introduced in Tims stores across Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, aiming to encourage consumers to make small, everyday choices that support a more sustainable future.
