Canadian telecom customers are experiencing long wait times, multiple calls, and poor communication when trying to resolve billing issues with Rogers, Telus, and Bell. Employees at Rogers and Telus have revealed that frontline customer service reps are incentivized to increase customers' bills, not help with credits or lower bills. Complaints against telecoms reached an all-time high last year, with over 23,000 filed with the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services. A new law in Spain aims to cap wait times for customers addressing similar issues.
