TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao criticized YSRCP leader Gudivada Amarnath for tarnishing Andhra Pradesh's image with misinformation and political distortion. Rao highlighted the state's recent industrial resurgence under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that the YSRCP failed to attract significant industrial establishments during its five-year rule. Rao accused Amarnath of engaging in malicious intent and misrepresenting facts.

Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, is actively seeking to strengthen its ties with Singapore to facilitate industrial growth and attract investments. The state's recent visit by Naidu to Singapore highlighted the potential for collaboration in various sectors, including electronics, semiconductors, and green energy.

During his meeting with the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, Shilpak Ambule, Naidu emphasized the state's progressive policies aimed at attracting investments from Singapore-based enterprises. The Chief Minister also discussed the establishment of a Quantum Valley in Amaravati and the state's ambitious goal of achieving 160 gigawatts of green energy generation.

Singapore's robust economic growth and effective public policies have been praised by Ambule, who also noted the significant recognition of the 'CBN Brand' within Singapore's government and industrial sectors. Naidu and Ambule discussed the potential for Singaporean firms to invest in Andhra Pradesh, with major Asia-Pacific firms like STT, Keppel, CapitaLand, Equinix, and PSA considering expansion in the state.

Andhra Pradesh's housing initiatives and education sector were also highlighted during the discussions. The state's housing projects aim to provide affordable housing for its residents, while the education sector is being bolstered with leading academic institutions already operating within the state.

The visit also focused on collaboration in fields such as artificial intelligence, startups, medical device research, and academic partnerships between universities in Andhra Pradesh and Singapore. The discussions were attended by ministers and senior government officials from Andhra Pradesh.
