MicroStrategy, now simply 'Strategy', reported a net loss of $670.8 million for the fourth quarter, as the firm added 218,887 Bitcoin to its holdings. The company's revenue for the quarter was $120.7 million, a 3% year-over-year decline that missed analyst estimates by about $2 million. Strategy's expenses for the quarter rose nearly 700% year-over-year to $1.1 billion as it began executing its '21/21 Plan' to buy more Bitcoin.

Strategy has already completed $20 billion of its $42 billion capital plan, fueling its Bitcoin buying spree largely through senior convertible notes and debt. The company's Bitcoin holdings now sit at 471,107 Bitcoin, worth over $45 billion, the largest of any corporation in the world.

Strategy introduced new key Bitcoin metrics on its website, including 'BTC Yield' and 'BTC Gain'. The firm's 'BTC Yield' reached 74.3% in 2024, but it is lowering its target to 15% for 2025. Strategy rebranded from MicroStrategy on February 5, with executive chairman Michael Saylor orchestrating the company's Bitcoin investment strategy. The firm added the '₿' Bitcoin logo next to its new name to reflect its commitment to Bitcoin.

Strategy (MSTR) fell 3.3% during the February 5 trading day to $336.70 and has dropped another 0.72% in after-hours trading, according to Google Finance data.

Strategy announced its 2025 'BTC Revenue' target of $10 billion and revised its 2025 BTC annual yield target to at least 15%. The company's 2024 fiscal year 'BTC Yield' KPI reached 74.3%, with 2.9% achieved in the first quarter of 2025. President and CEO Phong Le said, "We have completed $200 billion of
