Stellantis is discontinuing plug-in hybrid electric Jeep SUVs and Chrysler minivan due to slowing EV sales, quality issues, and weakened federal fuel economy requirements. The decision is a result of waning customer demand and a focus on more competitive electrified solutions. The company will phase out plug-in hybrid programs in North America beginning with the 2026 model year.
