Sompo International Holdings Completes Acquisition of Aspen Insurance Holdings, Diversifying Global Insurance Platform.

Sompo International Holdings has completed the acquisition of Aspen Insurance Holdings, diversifying and strengthening its global insurance and reinsurance platform. Aspen's Class A ordinary shares have been delisted from the NYSE. Sompo's CEO, Mikio Okumura, welcomed the Aspen team, while James Shea, CEO of Sompo P&C, emphasized the commitment to growing the global P&C footprint through market cycles. Aspen will transition to trading under the Sompo brand and Mark Cloutier will act in an advisory role.
