In recent weeks, the cryptocurrency market has experienced significant volatility, with Solana (SOL) being no exception. The token's price plummeted by 55.25% from its January 19 high of $284.85 to a low of $127.47 on February 27, before recovering slightly to $161.54 by March 3. This downturn can be attributed to external economic uncertainties, such as geopolitical concerns and inflation data, as well as the recent cryptocurrency reserve announcement.

Given the potential tailwinds from SOL's inclusion in the reserve, Finbold consulted the advanced artificial intelligence (AI) of OpenAI's ChatGPT-4o to predict where the token might stand at the end of 2025. ChatGPT initially set a price target of $300 for December 31, 2025, representing an 85.71% upside from the press time price. However, this target was based on the assumption that the Bitcoin (BTC) halving had not yet occurred.

Upon further analysis, ChatGPT revised its price target to a range of $500 to $700, citing factors such as technological advancements, market positioning, institutional adoption, and broader trends. The AI also estimated that SOLSOL-- would reach its cycle high between $500 and $700 in late 2025 or early 2026, with 2025 being the optimal exit year due to the potential for a bear market in the later months of 2026.

It is essential to note that ChatGPT's initial research did not account for the digital assets reserve announcement and Solana's inclusion in the program. However, after considering these factors, the AI revised its December 31 price target to the $500 to $700 range. If ChatGPT's prediction proves accurate, a $1,000 investment in Solana at the time of the prediction could appreciate to between $3,095.21 and $4,333.29 by the end of 2025.
