Solana Bulls Charge as Whales and Institutions Accumulate

Solana (SOL) has recently experienced short-term price breaks above the $140 mark, signaling a potential bullish trend for the cryptocurrency. This development comes amidst a backdrop of increased activity and accumulation by whales and institutional investors.

Over the past few days, several dormant wallets have awakened, transferring substantial amounts of Ether (ETH) to the OKX exchange. One such transaction involved five wallets that had been inactive for 2.5 years, transferring a total of 5,842 ETH. This move is estimated to have generated a profit of approximately $2.33 million for the investors.

In addition to these transfers, a whale that had accumulated 1815 ETH two years ago completed its exit by selling off 2375 ETH. Meanwhile, another whale has increased its holdings by 227,600 TRUMP tokens, with an average purchase price of $11.66. This accumulation suggests that the whale is bullish on the TRUMP token and expects its value to appreciate in the future.

Mirana Ventures, an institutional investor, has also been actively building its position in the Solana ecosystem. The venture capital firm averaged a price of $2134 to acquire a total of 21,667 ETH, amounting to a $46.25 million investment. This significant investment by an institutional player further underscores the growing interest and confidence in the Solana network.
